Our Host a Hive program is the perfect way to support pollinators, enjoy the benefits of backyard beekeeping, and get access to local raw honey without the full responsibility of managing a hive on your own.
Whether you’re simply passionate about the environment, want to support the local honey bee population, or are an aspiring beekeeper looking for hands-on experience, we’ll work with you to design a program that fits your goals and comfort level.
We offer two flexible options:
🐝 Host a Hive on Your Property
We install and maintain a beehive directly on your land. You can choose to be fully hands-on and join us for inspections and maintenance, or take a more relaxed, hands-off approach while we care for your bees.
🌼 Sponsor a Hive in Our Apiary
No space or time for a hive? No problem. Sponsor a hive located in our own certified apiary in Johnston County, NC. You’ll still enjoy the sweet rewards — including a share of the honey your hive produces.
Both options allow you to:
- Support the health and growth of the honey bee population
- Customize your hive and follow its progress
- Receive honey from your hosted hive
- Learn directly from experienced beekeepers
