Description
🍯 Raw Wildflower Honey — Apiary3 (County Line)
This honey comes from our Apiary3 — a unique location that sits right on the Wake and Johnston County line (zip code 27592). Because of this position, our bees forage across both counties, drawing nectar from a wider and more diverse range of wildflower sources than a single-county apiary. The result is a distinctive honey with a character all its own.
Every jar is small-batch harvested and hand-bottled by our family — the same way we’ve been doing it for over 14 years.
| 🌸 Flavor Profile Light in color with sweet, floral after tones — a unique blend from two counties’ worth of wildflowers | 🏆 Award-Winning NC State Fair 3rd Place Winner — recognized for quality, color, and craftsmanship |

🗺️ What Makes This Apiary Special?
Apiary3 is our county line apiary — the hives sit right on the border of Wake and Johnston counties. Honey bees typically forage within a 2–3 mile radius of their hive, which means these bees are pulling nectar from wildflower sources in both counties. That wider foraging range gives this honey a unique character you won’t find anywhere else.

✅ Certified Raw Honey

🏆 NC State Fair Award Winner
Our honey has won 3rd place at the NC State Fair — recognized by expert judges for its quality, color, and craftsmanship. This is the same honey that goes into every jar we sell from this apiary.

🐝 What Makes Our Honey Different?
Most store-bought honey is blended, ultrafiltered, heated, or imported. Ours isn’t. Every jar of Shuga Bee Farm honey is produced by our own bees, harvested by our own hands, and bottled in small batches right here in Johnston County. We’ve been doing this for over 14 years because we believe local honey should be real honey — nothing added, nothing taken away.
⚠️ Safety Notice: Do not feed honey to infants under 12 months of age. Learn more about honey and infant safety.
